We just received a $300 donation from the Blog Pac on the Daily Kos bringing our donation total to $525. We have given our lawyer the $250 down payment and will give the rest to him before the end of October.
We have a new court date: November 2nd. If we do have to take this thing to trial, we will still need an additional $225. We will continue taking donations until we have all that may be needed. In the event we do not have to pay the additional $250, we will donate the extra money to the Veterans for Peace Chapter 099's Afghan Orphanage Fund. SILENCED!
Well, my lawyer has informed me to keep silent until this case is over. So I cannot discuss anymore details regarding my case. But I will field any questions anyone has as best I can. Sorry, this sucks for me because I have to refrain from freeway blogging also. :(
BUT I ENCOURAGE ALL AMERICANS TO DO IT! Especially here in Asheville!
